- When a garment is cut to size, an average of 20% of the material is lost and thrown away. For the production of the Odyssey T-shirt, these scraps are collected and recycled to turn them back into fabric. For environmental reasons, the new fabric is not dyed. This stage of the production process requires a lot of water and energy, which is why the fabric remnants are sorted by colour. This leads to slight colour variations and irregularities in the end product, which drastically reduces the environmental impact.
