Cutting bars for plotters - protection for knives and hardware

An intact cutting strip is the basic requirement for clean cuts. It serves as a protective base for your plotter blade and prevents the blade from being damaged when cutting through. Replace worn blades in good time to avoid unclean edges when weeding and to maintain the precision of your Secabo or Roland plotter.

Maintain precision: When you should change your cutting strip

The cutting strip is a classic wearing part on every roller plotter. It is located directly under the blade track. Over time, cuts dig into the strip, especially if the blade pressure is too high. As a result, the blade no longer cuts to the same depth, causing problems when weeding your flex films or vinyls.

Your advantages with a new cutting bar:

  • Perfect cutting pattern: A smooth surface guarantees constant back pressure across the entire width.
  • Knife protection: You prevent the fine tip of your plotter knife from breaking off due to grooves or unevenness in the old moulding.
  • Easy to fit: Our replacement cutting strips are self-adhesive and can be glued onto your model in just a few simple steps.

We have suitable replacement mouldings for all standard widths of the Secabo C and S series as well as for many other models. Check regularly whether your moulding has grooves or notches to avoid downtime in your production.
