- On average, 20% of the material is lost and discarded when cutting out a garment. To produce the Odyssey T-shirt, these offcuts are collected and recycled to be turned back into fabric. For environmental reasons, the new fabric is not dyed. This stage of the production process requires a great deal of water and energy, which is why the fabric scraps are sorted by colour. This results in slight colour variations and irregularities in the final product, which drastically reduces the environmental impact.
