An overview of tools and resources
What would our hardware be without its accompanying tools and accessories? We’d like to give you an overview of these today.
What would our hardware be without its accompanying tools and accessories?
Let’s start with the first sub-category: cutters & weeding aids
We all know how tedious weeding can be. It’s hardly any fun and can also be very time-consuming at times. And let’s not even get started on the patience it requires…
High-quality, functional products with a long service life make this task much easier. From LED weeding pens and film cutters to professional scrapers, we offer everything a creative person could wish for.

The next topic is more of a resource: colour charts
We think it’s good for you to know that you can order self-adhesive films from us, for example, and check what the colours actually look like in real life beforehand. After all, who wants to buy something without seeing or testing it first? That’s exactly what we offer. We want to make your purchasing decision easier!
Simply order the colour charts from us free of charge, choose your colour at home at your leisure, and order the film you want directly from us. Give it a go!

A short and simple topic: rulers
We all know just how often we actually need them in everyday life. Of course, you can buy rulers that don’t cost much but are still good quality.
However, our rulers are specially designed for the sign-making industry, which is why they’re also known as safety cutting rulers. Whether for applying film or measuring banners and the like, you need a large, sturdy ruler. Suitable for all cuts in film, wood, plastic or aluminium, and their key features include: a non-slip rubber coating, graduations for precise cutting, a satin-finish surface and an ergonomic design.

Cutting plotters cannot operate without them: cutting blades & blade holders
Blade holders, drag blades in various grades, plotter pens and tangential blades – you simply can’t do without them! The great thing is that these products are designed to avoid the need for unnecessary, frequent replacements, as Secabo’s plotter blades and blade holders are truly durable and, what’s more, great value for money.

Let’s move on to the adhesive section: squeegees and rollers
This is particularly true when, for example, you’re applying frosted glass film or working with self-adhesive films. You’ll no doubt have realised back when you were starting out that you can’t get anything done without a squeegee or rollers. The pressure and friction caused by the squeegee bond the transfer film to the self-adhesive film, or the frosted glass film to window panes, and much more. Even when we completely refilmed our kitchen, the squeegee was a huge help to us. It’s incredibly versatile and a piece of cake to use.

This is something very few of us are likely to know: cutting mats
Yes, we also offer cutting mats for working with films in the best possible way. We’ve all been there: you don’t have a workbench at home, so you just pick any old table. Unfortunately, you only realise too late that you’ve cut into the surface underneath whilst cutting the film. The problem is easily solved! With our CUT MAT cutting mats in various sizes, your workspace will be protected from damage in future.

Making it easier to work with transfer films: a transfer film dispenser
Anyone who has ever worked with transfer film knows that you always need a second person to hold the roll whilst the other person pulls the film out. Of course, this isn’t practical in the long run. A dispenser that holds the film securely and allows you to work faster would be ideal. We can fulfil exactly that wish for you!

Handy tools for signmakers: Adhesive accessories
Our applications engineer, Ed, is a huge fan of the belt pouch, which has plenty of space for all his bonding tools. It means he doesn’t have to keep running back and forth, and certainly doesn’t have to spend ages searching for things. But items like the film clips are also popular, as they stop the film from unrolling. If you do a lot of bonding work, why not have a look around this category?
