• Use of membrane base plates: As umbrellas often have struts made of metal or plastic, a membrane base plate or a thick thermal levelling pad helps to even out any unevenness and apply even pressure to the fabric segment.
• Positioning: Make sure to place the motif in the centre of a segment to make optimum use of the tension of the fabric and avoid distortion of the logo when stretching.
