YOW! SCREEN PRINTING Textile Transfer – the new printing service for professional textile finishing
The long-suffering printing technician knows the drill: the customer comes round the corner with a request to print on textiles – a small logo on the front of the chest (featuring lettering 5 mm high), and the company name printed over a large area on the back. Ideally, there are also some delicate, intricate patterns in four colours layered on top of one another – and the whole lot needs to be printed onto 100 black T-shirts by yesterday.
Unfortunately, the advertising technician’s only option is to use a cutting plotter and a heat transfer press to plot designs from flex and flock film – in multiple colours layered on top of one another if necessary. However, the designs are too intricate for this method, and there are simply too many to complete the order within the specified timeframe.
To address this situation, we are now offering our customers – alongside the already familiar READY textile transfer for full-colour, photorealistic designs – a new professional printing service for textile transfers using 1 to 6 ink colours. Here’s how theSCREEN PRINT textile transferworks:
- You design the required vector graphics using 1 to 6 colours.
- Create your vector graphic(s) in DIN A3 format (print area: 28 cm x 40 cm; you decide on the layout and combination of the individual designs).
- Save or export your design file as an AI, PDF or EPS file.
- Upload the design file to the YOW! Shop and order the required number of sheets, specifying the desired print colours and which colours in your document correspond to these print colours.
- Please specify the remaining details, such as the colour of the textiles or any special effects you require.
- We’ll dispatch your finished SCREEN-PRINTED textile transfers within 5 working days (express delivery in 2 days is also available).
- Cut the individual designs out of the supplied A3 sheets and print them onto your transfer items using a heat press – that’s it!
Screen-printed textile transfers are excellent for reproducing even the finest details. In addition to 30 basic colours, special colours are also available. You also have the option of having your transfers finished with special effects such as a soft-touch finish, reflective finish, faux leather or similar.
