Classifications of sublimation mugs: AAA – B

White mugs with polyester coatings for sublimation transfer are categorised into different quality grades on the market. A system of AAA, AA, A and B is often used for this purpose, although other classification systems also exist.

At YOW!, we stock a premium mug in AAA quality featuring what is known as an ORCA coating – a high-purity coating that ensures brilliant reproduction of the sublimation colours on the snow-white mug. The premium mug is permanently dishwasher-safe, has a particularly straight and round body, a straight handle, an inclusion-free coating and is made from high-quality porcelain. The premium mug is particularly suitable as a gift item and a high-quality souvenir.

The Premium mug is sold in boxes of 36, with substantial volume discounts available when purchasing multiple boxes.

In addition, YOW! offers an ‘Economy’ mug in ‘A’ quality. This mug is also dishwasher-safe and has no inclusions in the coating; whilst it is slightly less perfect than the ‘AAA’ mug in all other respects, it is available at a considerably lower price. This makes the Economy mug the ideal giveaway, particularly for events and functions.

The Economy mug is also sold in boxes of 36 – with corresponding discounts for larger quantities.

Other grades, such as AA or B, are not available in the YOW! range, as we have deliberately opted for a top-quality product and a good-quality product as our Economy variant.
