FlexCut Sweet – Heat-sealable flexible film for cutting plotters
FlexCut Sweet is a flexible film for textile transfers with a particularly soft feel. It is very similar to direct screen printing.
FlexCut Sweet is a multi-layered polyurethane film on a polyester backing. It offers good opacity and excellent elasticity. Due to its thickness, it cannot be used to cut out quite as fine lines and lettering as FlexCut Sticky. However, FlexCut Sweet has a particularly soft feel, which is very similar to direct screen printing.
The polyester backing of FlexCut Sweet is not self-adhesive, so the weeded designs can be stacked easily and in any quantity. The plotted and weeded lettering or designs are pressed onto the textiles for 17 seconds at 165°C using a heat transfer press (e.g. Secabo TC7). After a short cooling period, the backing film can be removed whilst still warm or once cool.
FlexCut Sweet is suitable for cotton, polyester and blended fabrics. It is less suitable for nylon and other coated textiles.
It is wash-resistant up to 60°C and is available in 14 colours.
