At the end of Fasching and Karneval lies every reveller’s nightmare: Lent. But it’s not just during these 40 days leading up to Easter that we should treat our bodies to the occasional break from all kinds of indulgences and make exercise a regular part of our daily lives. A perfect example of this is our managing director, Bernhard: for the past eight weeks, he has completely changed his diet (switching to a vegetarian diet plus fish) and keeps fit with jogging and yoga.
As a team, we naturally want to support him in this, so we’ve come up with his very own fitness collection: Power through YOWga!
We carried out the whole project using our new YOW! CraftY cutter with Wi-Fi and the SEF FlexCut white and FlexCut Puff white films on a NATH sports shirt, Move shorts and the ‘ Bag for Life’. As so often, our trusted heat transfer press was the Secabo TC2.

The CraftY is controlled using the DrawCut software. This innovative software enables you, on the one hand, to vectorise bitmap graphics using industry-standard formats and create professional plot files; on the other hand, even without any prior knowledge, you can give free rein to your own creativity in digital design and create beautiful designs and layouts.
So, once you’ve professionally prepared your design on your computer or laptop, it’s sent to the CraftY. Thanks to its USB interface, the device is also particularly easy to set up. Via a large, modern touchscreen, you can adjust the downforce (which is impressively high given the device’s compact size), the speed and the multi-LED lighting, which ensures a comfortable working experience even in low-light conditions.
Choosing a film – both in terms of texture and colour – isn’t exactly easy. And as the CraftY can handle ALL standard films – such as adhesive films, self-adhesive films, flock films, flex films, stencil films, etc. – it certainly doesn’t make your decision any easier! And that’s not all: unlike many of its competitors, the CraftY can handle not only sheets but also rolls, which are considerably cheaper – with a material width of up to 500 mm and a cutting width of up to 390 mm! This is considerably wider than many a competing hobby product and allows you even greater variety when bringing your ideas to life. Thanks to the cutting mat supplied, paper, labels and card are, of course, no problem either, opening up an even wider range of possibilities for your projects.
With a cutting speed of up to 700 mm per second, it is truly a speed demon and leaves the competition far behind in this respect too. Nevertheless , the CraftY’s accuracy is by no means compromised. This is ensured, amongst other things, by a high-precision, high-speed camera for automatic contour cutting – meaning even small lettering and fine details are no longer a problem.
The camera’s impressive quality is also evident in its reliability, as even highly reflective, multi-coloured or transparent materials, as well as any colour markings, pose no problem. The integrated blade test monitors the cutting depth to prevent film waste. As the package also includes a blade holder and a trailing blade, you can get started straight away and discover the wonderful world of crafting with the CraftY through learning by doing.
