What materials can the SC30 II process?
The SC30 II is an all-rounder for sheet material. It reliably cuts and creases self-adhesive films, papers, light cardboard and speciality media. This makes it ideal for the production of labels, stickers, business cards, greetings cards and even small packaging mock-ups.
Do I have to select the cut files manually?
No, this is precisely where the strength of automation lies. Thanks to the integrated QR code system, the ARMS camera immediately recognises which job is present when the sheet is fed in. The machine automatically loads the appropriate file from the software. So you can mix different jobs in one batch - the SC30 II sorts them digitally for you.
Do I need special software knowledge?
The SC30 II is designed for "Plug & Play". If you work with common graphics programmes such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW, you can connect them directly using the plug-ins supplied - or you can work conveniently with the DrawCut PRO software supplied. The device itself is operated intuitively via a 4.3" colour touchscreen menu, which does not require a long training period.
How many sheets can be processed at the same time?
The automatic stacking tray has space for up to 50 sheets (depending on the material thickness). As soon as you press the start button, the machine processes the stack completely independently so that you can get on with other tasks in the meantime.
Can the SC30 II also crease (create fold lines)?
Thanks to the dual tool head system, the SC30 II can not only cut, but also crease and perforate. This is particularly valuable for the production of folding cards or small boxes, as the fold lines are set precisely and cleanly without damaging the material.
Is the system suitable for photographers?
Absolutely. In combination with a photo printer (such as the Epson SureLab), the SC30 II becomes the perfect production station for photo stickers, passport photos and photo folders.
