- Mercerised cotton is produced by soaking the fabric, whilst it is held under tension, in a sodium hydroxide solution
- After the fabric has been washed and dried, the result is a smoother and firmer fabric, which means a lower risk of shrinkage and greater colour absorption, leading in turn to a deeper, longer-lasting colour
- The cotton in this product was grown by farmers certified by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI™) (1036081-1).
